What products are you highlighting at Analytica 2018?

The POREX® FORTRESS™ pipette tip filter we are debuting at the show is an inert and additive-free filter that uses a proprietary material to prevent aerosols, cross-contamination and sample carryover, ensuring pure and reliable results. We are also showcasing innovations that speed fluid transfer of diagnostics and optimize chromatography operations for laboratory and medical professionals.

Our “Collection to Detection” solutions include smart enabling porous materials that quicken lab procedures, reducing the cost of methodologies and improving result specificity and accuracy. By offering customized surface energy, reducing oral fluid viscosity in samples and improving absorbency of samples through optimized capillary structures, POREX® diagnostics solutions can advance in vitro diagnostics, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and point-of-care (POC) tests.

In chromatography, our Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) frits, automation and dissolution filters and protein precipitation media help to remove contaminating lipids, salts and proteins. A proprietary sintering process optimizes SPE processes by optimizing column packing and reducing interferences and the number of extractables.
